Imran (not his real name), is 32 years old and has an incurable brain tumour. He is luckier than most having undergone surgery that was unfortunately unable to remove all of the tumour, but has also left him suffering with severe pain along the right side of his body, chronic headaches and with frequent seizures and hallucinations. His family are too poor to pay for medications and treatments, so we stepped in to help.
We have provided Imran with the medications he needs along with equipment such as a wheelchair and a medical bed for his home, and continue to visit and provide regular support to him and his family, advising and making any necessary adjustments to his treatment. Happily his seizures are greatly reduced, his physical pain is being controlled and he is living a much more comfortable life.
