Meet our Bethlehem team

Helen Hazboun

Palliative Care Nurse

My name is Helen Hazboun, and I proudly serve as a compassionate palliative care nurse in Bethlehem. I embarked on my journey in healthcare by earning an Honor degree in Bachelor in Nursing and Health Science from Bethlehem University back in 2017. Since then, I’ve been registered as a nurse, dedicating myself to alleviating pain and suffering wherever I can.

Before joining the esteemed team at Bethlehem Care Hospice and Trust in Palestine, I devoted six years of my career to Saint Joseph Hospital in Jerusalem. This invaluable experience not only honed my skills but also deepened my understanding of the complexities of patient care.

My passion lies in easing the burden of those facing terminal illnesses or life-threatening diseases, as well as providing unwavering support to their families. I believe in approaching each patient with empathy and understanding, striving to comprehend their unique needs and concerns. By doing so, I aim to not only improve their quality of life but also bring a sense of comfort and solace during challenging times.

Every day, I am driven by the desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I care for. It’s a privilege to walk alongside patients and their families on their journey, offering compassionate care and unwavering support every step of the way.

Tamer and his team of Palliative Care Nurses go above and beyond their duty bringing essential hospice care to the terminally-ill of Bethlehem, donate today and help them provide the medical care their patients need.
