In July 2025, the community spirit of Halifax shone brightly as the ladies of St Mary’s and St Alban’s Catholic Parishescame together for a wonderful cause. Through a spectacular parish bake sale, they raised an impressive £410 in support of the Bethlehem Care and Hospice Trust.
Renowned locally for their baking excellence, the parish bakers truly outdid themselves. Joined by a wave of generous donations of pastries and cakes, they created an absolutely irresistible spread. The local community responded with immediate enthusiasm, and it wasn’t long before every last crumb was sold!

Every penny raised from this joyful collaboration goes directly toward supporting our mission. As the only licensed palliative care provider in the Holy Land (Palestine), the Bethlehem Care and Hospice Trust relies on incredible community acts like this to keep our doors open. This £410 contribution will directly help us provide:
