A Message of Hope and Gratitude

Team of Nurses training at Bethlehem University
During our most recent visit to the Holy Land, I was profoundly struck by the unwavering resilience and dedication of our team. In the face of ongoing hardship, personal risk, and a deepening humanitarian crisis, they continue to show up – day after day – to care for patients with compassion, skill, and grace. Their commitment in such trying circumstances is nothing short of extraordinary.

Equally moving was the warmth and solidarity extended to us by our local partners and staff. Despite the challenges they face in their own lives, they welcomed us with open arms, shared meals and stories, and reaffirmed their steadfast commitment to the mission of the hospice. Their strength, generosity, and sense of purpose reminded me that even in the darkest times, humanity and hope endure.

None of this would be possible without your support. It is your generosity that fuels our work. Each patient we care for, every family we support, and every final moment of dignity we are able to provide – these are all made possible because you believe in what we do. Your contributions are not just financial; they are acts of compassion that ripple through lives in the most profound ways.

As we look to the future, however, we are facing significant financial challenges. Based on our current projections, we have sufficient funding to sustain operations only through the end of 2025. This reality underscores the urgency of our efforts to secure long-term, sustainable support. We are actively pursuing new collaborations, partnerships, and sources of funding that will enable us to continue this vital work well into the future.

With your continued support and shared belief in our mission, we remain hopeful that we will not only sustain the hospice but strengthen it – for the sake of every patient who walks through our doors and every family who needs a place of comfort, care, and dignity.

Thank you for standing with us.
